“I want a kitchen that is part of the home.”
We took a light-touch approach to this condominium’s kitchen despite removing two half-walls. The goal was to merge the kitchen with the dining and living space in the 950 sq foot home.
We kept original cabinets in place to allow the focus of the budget and project to be upgraded hard surfaces to include real hardwood floors, granite countertops and subway tile backsplashes. Removing the upper corner of the kitchen allowed for the rich counter to spill into a peninsula for seating, serving and entertaining.
